While walking along the edge of the lake he is alert, always watching for danger, and listening for a distant call.

Each feather is cut for a specific place on the sculpture, brazed in place and then tipped with nickel silver. The white-feathered parts found on a real Canada goose have been covered with nickel silver. Photo: R.Zocchi
