Alligator The alligator, like the hippopotamus, is a bas-relief which was hand hammered from a single sheet of copper. It is reinforced in the back with copper pipe. The piece can be hung vertically or horizontally. In some shows it was displayed flat, and 'our friend' found this to be a most agreeable position. Photo: P.Bartlett 75"
